Israel and the Actual Church

1. God created everything perfect.

2. God gave instructions to man.

3. Man disobeyed.

4. Consequences (written is the book of Genesis).

5. God’s Plan: Restoration.

6. God looked for a man that could obey Him, in order to start His plan.

7. God found Abraham.

8. God prepared Abraham to a special work.

9. Abraham’s Call (and his family) – preach to the world that God is not an animal for sacrifice and that He is going to send a Messiah.

10. Ishmael – Abraham’s and Sarah’s maidservant son – Consequences (Genesis 25)
Israel – Abraham’s generation.

11. Israel’s obediences + disobediences (Bible’s Old Testament).

12. Messiah came and He was Jesus Christ.

13. God’s People dind’t received Him – The Religious people killed Jesus.

14. God creates a new family – The Church.
Chruch is also called Israel or the new family of the New Testament.

15. The Church’s Call - Announce that the Messiah has come:
His name is Jesus and He’ll come again. Everyone should be prepared to meet the King.

16. Church’s success and failure:
God’s plan was not always understood by Church (the new family) - as it happened with the Old Testament’s Church.
God’s People always searches for personal benefits, and forget his call.
People have a tendency to miss God’s way (biblical commandments) and make religion’s, sorcery’s and idolatry’s way towards.

17. Final Exhortation:

God’s warnings:
- To people of the world;
- To God’s people;
- To God’s servants.
