STUDIES: How to have a successful year

A better lifestyle does not only depend on God, it depends on us,

Isaiah 1:19 - “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land”.

1. Be grateful to God Ungratefulness is a brother of mummerings. There is much to be grateful to God for, salvation, forgivess of sins, God's protection... .

2. Dedicate your life entirely to God You are a businessman and you have a calling of God to gain money in this area, dedicate your business to God, make God your business partner.

3. Have specific goals in accordance with the Will of God "Without vision the people perish." (Proverbs 29:18). You have to have a vision, specific goals for your business, speak nubers to God. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for" (Hebrews 11:1). Things are: growth in invoices, increase in the catolgue of products, gaining new clients...... Goals without action are dreams, and, action without goals is a hobby. Work in order to achive your targets.

4. Remain continually full of the Word of God Meditate on the Word day and night in order to ensure that you do everything that is written and then you will prosper in your path and your road will be conducted with prudence. (Joshua 1:8) Practice the Word, speak the Word. "Seek the Lord in first place and then everything will be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33)

5. Be guided by God For your business in 2001, do not listen to the voice of the world (the economical circumstances, the devil...) listen to the voice of God. If we live in the Spirit we are going to be in agreement with god and this brings blessings and life in abundance.

6. Think big for God - Do great things for God We confuse humilty with poverty and Christianity with "being downtrodden" here on earth because the rewards are in heaven. We serve a great God who does great things. As Christians we have to think big, to search for the best, and not be content with second class solutions.

7. Do not limit God To limit God is to doubt His Word.

8. Sow what you want to Reap The secret of supplied neccessities is to live to give.. Everything in the Kingdom of God can be compared to sowing and harvesting (Mark 4:26) How you treat people is how you will be treated by your customers? Treat your staff well and they will treat your clients well. Sow attention, respect and you will reap attention and respect. Sow the tithes of you business and the Lord will open the windows of heaven and pour abundance over you. (Malachi 3:10).

9. Be consistant in everything you do Do not stop, don't give up. Be consistant in going to church, in praying, in meditating on God's Word, be consistants in your dealings and agreements with your customers.

10. Trust in God and He will deliver you from all your anxieties Keep your eyes on Jesus and not on the problems. Agree with God, believe in the promises of God, disagree with the devil.

11. Be careful of sin Scheming, lies, adultery, bad thoughts... The wages of sin is death, failure.

12. Be obedient to the authorities instituted by God Romans 13:1-2
