INTRODUCTION: What you need to Know

A man without room for God is a man without room for success.

Some time ago, I was reading a book called "The 7 Habits of Very Efficient People", a best seller amongst Businessmen. In order to write this book, the author had carried out research encompassing all literature on the subject of success published in the United States since 1776. He consulted hundreds of books, articles and essays. In his hands he had the essence of what a free and democratic people considered the key for success. His conclusion was that the secret of success is what he called the development of an Ethics of Character.

He concluded that the basic character of an individual, had to be constituted of universal principles such as integrity, humility, faithfulness, perseverance, courage, justice, patience,diligence, modesty and what he called the golden rule (to do to others what we would wish that they do us). I stopped reading at this precise point in the book, and went to confer what the bible says in Galations 5:22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,self-control".

I perceived, at this moment, that everything that Man needs in order to have success in his life is of God, through the presence of and communication with the Holy Spirit. It is exactly what Jesus taught in Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you". We can be certain that, by searching God and Jesus, through the Word of God, we will experience full satisfaction. Our life will gain a direction and a significance impossible to be humanly reached.

God is the only one capable of harmonizing the our businesses, our family, our heart's desires, all facets of our life, in a way that each one of our needs and desires are are supplied.

This balance in our lives and inner peace, that is achievable through God, is the essence of success.
