June 2001: European Businessmen's Meeting
	The first Mana Church European Businessmen's Meeting took place in a hotel in London. The enthusiasm and expectation was very evident, and present were around 60 business men and woman. The room was full and the meeting was led by Pastor Fidalgo.
He spoke on various subjects such as: The vision that God has for business men and woman. The vision of Mana Church. What are the greatest rewards that a businessman can have? How to manage your time. At the end everyone was very satisfied and eagerly awaits the next businessmen´s meeting. The Department for Businessmen has the objective of reaching out to Businessmen for Jesus, in familiar surroundings to them, were we are able to present Jesus and the Bible in a language that they understand. This is a very important project and in Europe we are taking our first steps. Pastor Domingos is the European Director for this department.

February 2001: Businessmen meetings in Region Central Portugal
There is motivation for businessmen, to become closer to God, allowing themselves to be used as a channel which God can use more and more. To prove this we have recently held some events in all the churches of this region, which have been a success. Churches of this region have been promoting events with a view to implanting this department in all the churches of this region, specifically, a "model" meeting for businessmen. In Tojal, in the presence of around 70 people, in which various pastors and businessmen of this region participated; Pastor Rodrigues shared what are the objectives of businessmen. This meeting is taking place every month.
Furthermore, we should mention a meal for businessmen that took place at a hotel in Santarem, attended by 120 people, and which had the objective of implementing a Department for Businessmen in this church of Region Central, with an emphasis on what it really means to be a businessman. It was emphasized that the main foundation of this department was that we have to show receptiveness and motivation, on the part of the brethren, in the form of looking at the will of God for businessmen, and to open our hearts to what God has for each one of us. We have seen God raise men and women with a ministry of business, and through various testimonies are able to conclude that God is with them. All have a certainty, a confidence, not in their business, but in God who has called them for this work; and all are unanimous that there is a big difference between a businessmen that works with God, and a businessmen that works without Him.

Dinners:

The objectives of these businessmen dinners are :

1. To give an opportunity for business brethren to interact.
2. To create a space where it is possible to invite friends and colleagues to a dinner in pleasant surroundings.
3. To minister the Word, to encourage evangelism, with the goal of Doctors winning Doctors for Jesus, engineers ... etc.
4. To encourage the discipleship of these people , by providing companionship, visiting, telephone calls, etc.
5. To encourage businessmen to take New Converts of this project to church and to Home Groups.
6. To encourage these people to place their talents at the disposition of the ministry (Matthew 25)
7. Another very important objective is to encourage these people to enroll (later) in the Bible School, this way we are going to have pastors who were ex-engineers, ex-doctors, ex-judges, etc. who will bring much dignity with them, as well as people of their same social class to the churches that they pastor.

Annual Convention

During June 2000 we held, at the Hotel Metropolitan in Lisbon, our 1st International Convention for Businessmen.

This convention, blessed with the presence of a special guest from America, Pastor Charles Nieman, was crowned with great excitement, because the messages, which covered spiritual and practical lessons on business negotiations, were of great importance for those present, and already it is possible to evidence many testimonies of transformations and prosperity in businesses. The convention was also blessed by the participation of businessmen from Angola, who came especially for the event.

Over the 14th, 15th and 16th of June 2001 we are going to hold our 2nd International Convention for Businessmen.
