LESSONS

Practical lesson...

This lesson is taught on an individual basis and each lasts for 45 minutes. How quickly a student learns depends very much on how homework the student does; in other words the more they study the quicker the results. These lessons cover the the following topics: chords, scales, songs and reading music.

Theory Lesson...

These lessons also last for 45 minutes. These are lectured in groups, consisting of students learning different instruments; this being possible when the musical basis is the same for various instruments. The subjects covered in these lessons are: clefs, musical notes, musical figures, tempo, chords, scales, changing keys and group harmonics.

Group Lesson...

A The Group Lesson has the intention of preparing musicians to serve in church praise groups. Not all the pupils pupils can participate in this lesson, only those those who have already learnt the songs and with previous authorization from their teacher of the practical lessons. The Group Lesson is a simulation of a praise group in a meeting and lasts for one hour. The progress of the students, especially those who make up part on one of the groups, is recorded in a report for the local churches; thus making it possible for the pastors to have relevant information on the progress of their deacons.

Children's Music...

This is a lesson specifically for children, where, at their own level, they learn the basics of music. The subjects explored in these lessons are: musical perception, group expression, music notes, rhythms and songs. The work is light, both homework and the practical lessons.
