Pastor Dimas

Mana Church ( M.C.)
- Pastor Dimas works full time in the the Bible School, what do you do?
Pastor Dimas ( P.D.) -My job, apart from being a Professor,
is to give lessons in the School of Ministry and to prepare support material
in order to give these lessons. To prepare support manuals for the School
on subjects of the New and Old Testament. |
M.C. - What subjects to you lecture
on? P.D. - The subjects involved are an introduction to
the Old Testament, sects, the tabernacle, the history of the Church
M.C. - What modules does each subject encompass? P.D.
- For example, in the subject of sects (false teachings), I do not look
to attack people, but to attack the things they are doing, that is, the
errors that they are committing, since Jesus said we are to walk in love
with people and not condemn them. M.C. - What differences
can be seen between the students of the Bible School and the students of
the School of Ministry? M.C. - In the School of Ministry
it is noticeable that they have more of a sense of responsibility. The students
of the School of Ministry are people preparing to enter into ministry and
in accordance with the bible verse:"you were faithful in little, over much
I will place you", and it is very much not about privileges and more about
work. The Bible School is a more relaxed group , in the Bible School one
has a curiosity to know more, they interrupt the lessons, meanwhile those
in the School of Ministry already know the basics. M.C.
- What message would you give to those who have not yet attended Bible School.
What incentive would you offer them? M.C. - For me Bible
School was a spectacular experience ! It is an education that creates the
roots for a Christian life. I strongly advise people to go to Bible School,
because it is not wasted time. Bible School teaches subjects that are not
taught during church meetings, due to lack of time. I had an wakening and
an interest in everything that is said in respect to God. During the many
years that I attended Bible Schools, I became more and more certain of God's
calling for me. M.C. - Is the ministry a bed of roses?
P.D. - No! because if we consult the bible: "many are the
afflictions of the just but the Lord delivers us from all", therefore a
Christian life is not a bed of roses. But these problems are overcome with
the Word, which is the roots in Christ that helps and supports us in these
difficult situations. |
