INTRODUCTION
The Bible School was founded in 1989 by Apostle Jorge Tadeu with the
objective of "training as many people as possible, to create more
and more disciples who are able to go out and reap the harvest"
Entry
Requirements
The
Bible School was created for everyone; and any person who wants to learn
more about God, it doesn't matter if you are part of Mana Church, the
Evangelical Church or which any other denomination [after all, we all
belong to Jesus], it is enough that you are a Christian and want to learn
more about the Word of God. Indeed, according to the director of the School,
Pastor Gisela: "it provides a person with a general knowledge of the bible"
and she underlines that: "it is not necessary to fill out a special application
form, all a person has to do is to bring a letter of recommendation signed
by their pastor which proves that they are a member of that church, so
that we know that they are a Christian and that they wish to learn more
about Jesus." So to sum up, the only type of requirement to be a pupil
of the Bible School is to have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Evaluation
of
a student is not done through exams, but through their fruits of integrity
and faithfulness. Nowadays these concepts are trivialized, but integrity
and faithfulness are two essential ingredients to a good testimony and
the functioning of the Body of Christ. The secretaries of the Bible School,
together with the director, keep a file in which the faults that each
pupil demonstrates are registered. With these small pieces of information
we are able to measure the persistence of each pupil.
Goals
To open more churches is our principal goal. To do this, it is
necessary to have more schools and more students that graduate, with the
intention of preaching the Gospel to all parts, bringing the message of
salvation to all the world. We want to reach the 250 million people who
speak Portuguese and not only them. "Jesus is the way" and there are yet
many people who do not know Him. We are making it possible for people
to carry out the great commission that God ordered in in Mark 16:15.
