General Information about the Region

The South Region is showing fruits; we have a vision, a vision of extensive growth and the opening of new churches, bringing the Good News to people in the South of Portugal, and not only there......Madrid, the capital of our neighboring country and in areas of France.

"I was hungry and you fed me..."

The South Region is on target to open more than eight new Churches in the next few months (Lagos, Loulé, Quarteira, Aljezur, Almodovar, Aljustrel, Ribeira do Seiçal, Ourique and Arraiolos ). Presently we have a total of 45 students enrolled in the Centre of Training*. Two weeks ago we began a project which involves visiting hospitals, prisons, and teenage care centers, and have already had salvations.

Autarchies that work with God!

The Church of God has been persecuted, which is nothing new, the church of Jesus has been persecuted since it's foundation. Meanwhile, more and more, in these recent times God has been gaining territory, and the autarchies are no exception. In this particular case, we can mention two particular autarchies in the south zone of the country, that are offering land to the Church, to enable us to build future churches. Praise to God for what He has done for this nation, and it is striking that, while there are autarchies that are impeding the advance of evangelism (although less and less), there are others that are working in our favor, and with God!
