Region Central II

The center of Portugal is lit up with enthusiasm by Evangelism. More and more the word of God is reaching into the hearts of people, transforming them into new creatures, i.e. different people, children of God in all areas of their lives.

This part of Portugal, Central region II, consists of the following areas:
Upper Alentejo,
Lisbon and her outskirts,
Tomar and Arredores.
Region Central II is divided into three core nucleuses of Churches.
One that is centered in Alvalade encompassing the outskirts of Lisbon and the churches of Assafora, Cacém, Mafra, Rana, S.Domingos de Rana, Amadora, and other churches that are still being planned, namely: Casal de Cambra, Magoito, Mem Martins, Buraca, etc.

Another core nucleus is centered in Tomar and includes the churches of Tomar, Entroncamento, Figueiró dos Vinhos and others that are still in the "forge": Ferreira do Zêzere, Abrantes, Torres Novas, and Ourém.

Last but not least, the other core nucleus, is centered in Nisa, and is made up of the churches of Nisa, Tolosa and others that are planned to be opened during this year, such as in Alpalhão, Crato and Portalegre. Although not within it's geographical area but also included in Region Central II is the island of Madeira. All these three core nucleuses have the same objective, which is to open new churches, and in order to carry this out we are pledged to train more couples through Bible Courses, Bible School and the Training Center; so that more and more people can hear and learn from the Word of God.

The church of Amadora already has a group trained in theater and street evangelism. In Tomar we are going to make changes to the church in order to improve it's image. Evangelism through radio and regional newspapers are the other focal points of our projects . In Nisa, according to Pastora Vitória, supervisor of Region Central II we are to live the verse of Acts. 2:47 " praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved" And she underlines that "we are to be sensitive to the movement of the Holy Spirit." One of the things that has been helping us greatly at this moment is that God is allowing us to breakdown walls in order to take evangelism further.

To sum up, Jesus was and is a preacher, since the beginning of Christianity, without the usual formality of priests; because God did not create religion to reach Mankind. He created only one path, which is Jesus; "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6
God is opening doors so that the whole world can be saved.
