Evangelism

On the second day of evangelism all the youth from the London Church went to the Vauxhall market, in London

Non of us had ever been to the Vauxhall market and so we asked for directions from a homeless person sleeping in a doorway. After indicating to us the way, this man shouted at us and said: "- Pray for me, because I want to have a better life."

Who had said that we were Christians?
It could only have been the Holy Spirit of God.
We prayed for this man and he said, full of faith: "- You will never meet me here again, because starting from today I already have a better life."

When we arrived at the market, for a moment I thought that I was in Portugal, or at least on the Island of Madeira, there were so many Portuguese families there that we lacked time to speak with them all.

My friends, the power of God was so tremendous in that place that the devil soon manifested himself in such a ferocious and aggressive way.

Before our eyes, a youth (aged between 18 and 20 years) was stabbed in the heart by someone who was about the same age. After struggling, the youth lost his senses and fell right where he had been standing.
Naturally, the people around were distressed and then a man who checked his pulse confirmed that he was DEAD. The panic spread rapidly, and some fled in distress, indeed it was a dramatic and difficult situation to explain.

Once again, my wife and I were covered by the power and boldness of God, and together with other youth present we raised our hands and began to pray in tongues, quietly, but with faith, intensity and determination.
An ambulance appeared after about half an hour, and when the state of the young man was confirmed, the police began to move the crowd because they were treating it as a criminal case. A policeman asked me to move away but I said to him that we would not leave because we were praying for the young man. Nearly everyone left the area but everytime the policeman looked towards us it appeared that he didn't see anybody and continued moving away the rest of the crowd.
A few seconds after God had confirmed in my spirit that the youth had been Resuscitated, we left the area because the work of God had been done.

Where the youth was resuscitated, Glory to God!

I encourage all the brethren to cloth yourselves in the power of God because this is the time for all of us to win the world for Jesus. We know that the salvation of these souls rest on us.

To finish I would like to share that one of the Portuguese people that had refused to receive a pamphlet from one of our youths said to me:

"- This world is ruined, I was born into and grew up in a religious family, but I don't believe in politicians, priests, and religions, how can you prove that God exists? You alone are not going to manage to fix this world, so I refuse to listen to what you have to say."

This is what I said to him: "- I agree with you, this world is ruined, and I cannot fix it. But Jesus can- That is why I am here today."

Without any more arguments he said: - "Give me one of those pamphlets so that I can read it on the Metro."

The seed is sown.
This man recognized the authority of God and in his time he will be saved.
Glory and honor to Jesus.
