Brazilian Missionaries arrive in Johannesburg

There was a long check-in list at the International Airport of São Paulo, 36 missionaries were sent to the Continent of Africa, for a Great Mission. The Gospel Television Network reported the boarding, and the impact caused by praise and worship, by evangelism and the prophetic declarations given there, directed to family, friends and by-passers..
The anointing was so evident that the faces of the Missionaries shined with joy and conviction about their calling. It was a real marking point for everyone at the Airport.
The anointing did not stop there: as in the waiting hall, as in the airplane the praise and evangelism continued touching people. And we are sure this anointing will not stop.

At the disembarking in Johannesburg, on the 25th of January , the Missionaries were easily recognized by their joy, and by their shirts announcing the XXI Century African Mission. They were received with a lot of hospitality by Edwina Tadeu, and her sister Emily, representing Mana Church, and organizing the Intensive Training for the Missionaries.

The Project

This Mission is a cooperation of Mana Church with the Brazilian Church RENASCER EM CRISTO, whose objective is the salvation of thousands of lives; accompanying them, and social aid projects, mainly in the aspects of education, sports and health.

"It is for sure that Jesus Christ has already blessed this union, and together we will reap the fruits of this project." - said Missionary Nívea Leal Gruchka.

The Training

After the first night in a distant and very different country, the missionaries woke up at eight o' clock in the morning, and when asked how they felt waking up in South-Africa, they confirmed:

"I have joy in knowing that the Word of God fulfills through me" - Missionary Carlos Sampaio said.

Taking breakfast, Missionary Carlos Chioda said: "It is very good and I don't feel any difference to my own home, because of the great hospitality of our brothers of Mana Church."

On the second day of the training, the Hygiene Course and Cleaning Discipline was administered, and one could chose to be part of a team of graphics, cooking, cleaning or journalism.

Time off

There is also leisure time in the training, the happy Brazilian missionaries had moments of distraction and enjoyed the swimming pool.

After completing the daily tasks, there was a moment of fellowship, prayer, praise and ministering of the Word. The Holy Spirit made a mighty visitation, and there were prophecies, speaking in new tongues and visions; a wonderful evening.

In the morning, the Brazilian Missionaries had a nutritive coffee, and prepared themselves for a visit to Mana Church in Rosettenville. Six brothers came with cars to fetch them.

"The Meeting was joyful and full of the anointing of the Holy Spirit, you could fly on His wings" - Missionary Raul Murilo told us.

And Missionary Magda Moraes declared: - "There was a wonderful fellowship with our Angolan brothers, with moments of deep worship and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ, and I felt as if instruments were played inside of us."

Sunday Meeting
Missionary Alessandra Seara said : "A true freedom in the Spirit and a great anointing of God."

It was in a moment of the Presence of God that the missionaries were strongly touched by the move of the Holy Spirit in this place.

"I felt fantastic with the presence of the Missionaries here and I became very happy and touched by realizing that our common goal is to bring people to Jesus Christ. The Brazilians are very alike the Angolans: they adore feasting." - Pastor Domingos Costa - of Rosettenville Mana Church said.

Around 15:00h the whole group of Missionaries went to the African Market to do shopping for their family, friends, etc. They went there in 5 cars with our brothers.

They had several experiences: amongst others, missionaries Pereta e Sandra asked the parents of a child with an epileptic fit if they could pray for her. They prayed and the demon was cast out.

At the end of the night the teams came together for dinner and to complete their tasks: cleaning, storing the food …
At 10 o' clock at night they had a prayer meeting in which the Holy Spirit moved wonderfully.
