Testimonies Angola February 2002

These are some opinions of the musicians that participated in the crusade in Angola and the March for Jesus.
All expressed their feelings in relation to this Nation and their experiences with this people of God.

I was very content. Angola has a very warm heart and this love should be transmitted to the entire world, so that the world may know that Angola is no longer a country of war, but of peace. Angola is in my heart.

João Marcelo

The love this people has for God is constant. It is a people in war, but they are always in front, because they know who their God is.
Carlos Pilaro - KK

Blessed the nation whose God is the Lord.
In the eyes of the world this country only knows destruction, famine and misery, but this Angolan people in Luanda lives a mighty restitution of God and the healing of this continent is closer then ever.
"Jesus came to Luanda, Angola is now of the Lord", the song says, so it will be. God is faithful.

Pastor Esdras Gallo - Renascer Praise

The homes and buildings seem to be dirty hovels, without light or water, but nevertheless the people smile. Because they don't know better, there is a spirit of conformism.
Right away when we arrived at the meeting, we were surprised with the size of the place, with space for 15.000 people and with the praise, the joy and the love with which they were in the house of the Father.
To resume, the march completely touched my emotions. The people gave themselves like the Brazilians. The people marched and praised, and shouted and stamped on the devils head.
Another thing that was very strong was the preaching of Apostle Estevan and a great healing for the people of Luanda in the end.
And in the end of everything there came a child of less then 8 years, without parents, that had suffered an accident a few days before, in poor conditions, but before asking money or food, asked for prayer.
I think I don't need to say more. God hugs this nation and we love the people of Luanda.

Marcelo Aguiar

I felt it very edifying, because the people were thirsty for Jesus.
In spite of the many needs it is a joyful people.
I could stay longer here, I felt like a missionary for Christ.

Clevis Pinho

Dear brothers: keep firm, knowing that your work is not in vain in the Lord. Always walk in joy because the joy of the Lord is our strength. We love you, Philippians 4:19.
Ronaldo e Vania

To have been in Luanda was an unforgettable experience for me, to see a people so marked by the war and famine surrendering body and soul to Jesus for sure is a life lesson for all of us.
People that often when they come home have nothing to eat, gave their best in the house of the Father in the conviction of faith that their lives will improve.
We went to minister, but we were powerfully ministered to. And the love I saw and lived with that people will be guarded in my heart forever.
I thank the Lord that I had the privilege to be chosen to pass this fantastic experience with Him.

Faty

The people of Angola are the warmest people on earth.
They work for Jesus being sure they will set all Africa on fire with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Deio Taubasco

For all my brothers and sisters of Manna Church in Angola: "I can do all things in Him who strengthens me!" I take the love of you all to Brazil.
Thank you Jesus!

David Richards

God always keeps good surprises for us, moments in which we live and see His plans.
To know all these countries brings us life lessons and makes us see the importance we have as ministers of the Gospel and to sing for this lovely people about hope, love, peace.
I never saw so much sweetness in hearing and living the Love of God and His miracles then in Luanda. For sure, this continent lives the major revolution of live and power in Christ Jesus.
The most wonderful of it all is that we saw and lived the beginning of this revolution. It is very graceful when we know, 'prophetically' that the Lord gave us this great opportunity.
We are honored, privileged and regardless our own experiences, we were powerfully blessed. All the glory given to God.

Maurilio Santos

The visit to Angola has been an inexpressible experience. Who comes to this place, passes the love of this people. I believe I never forget these days. Glory to God.
Bispo José Bruno

The love of the Angolan people is contagious, the praise, the faith that makes the destiny of this nation sure, marked my life. Today I may say that I love Angola and its people and that I will be always with you in my heart, praying for you.
Bispo Marcelo M. Amorim

What to say after seeing these things?
Who sees this land and knows the Lord, for sure will never be the same person.
I feel privileged that I have been some days here, participating the march. To have met these people and to be blessed by the Lord in this place.

Bispo Jorge Bruno

I may not be able to resume the quality of the good feelings that I have now in my heart. This visit changed my life.
I can say that the Angolan people live the words of Psalm 84 every day. They turn the Baca Valley into a flourishing meadow. I love this people and this country. That God guards and blesses them.
