SALVATION
When we talk about Salvation and Eternal
life, everyone has their own opinion. They try to gain salvation
their own way: Penitence, sacrifices, religion, etc. Many even
say: - “I serve God in my own way….”
But what is God’s way? If we serve God
then it is Him, and not us, that is in the position to say how
we should serve him. The Bible declares four important steps
for you to be saved.

RECOGNISE THAT YOU ARE LOST
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God”(Romans 3: 23)
The Bible teaches us that everyone has sinned. You can think
that you are a good person, you can give alms to the beggars,
you don’t wish harm on anyone, you have your religion and you
even believe in God. However, the Bible keeps on saying that
“…all have sinned…” Man is condemned, not for what he does,
but for what he is. Man, since his birth, has inside him, the
nature of sin.
To the human eye, you can be a very good person, but in the eyes
of God, no one is righteous by nature. For this reason, all are
separated from God.

YOU
CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF
“For by grace are ye saved, through faith; and that not
of yourselves. It is a gift of God, not of works, lest any man
should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
No human being could ever buy his own salvation or get it on
his own merit, or even through sacrifice, good works or good intentions..
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that
we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians
5:21)
If salvation were dependent upon good works, it
wouldn’t have been necessary for Jesus to be crucified. Could
it be that God was mistaken? No, because Jesus is the only legal
way for man to be saved.
“Jesus said unto him: I am the way, the truth and the life.
No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

GOD
HAS ALREADY PREPARED THE MEANS FOR YOUR SALVATION
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.”(John 3:16).
Jesus is the only legal way we have to get saved. Jesus himself
said: “I am the way..” Religions are many roads made by man to
reach God, but true Christianity is a road made by God to reach
man, and this road is JESUS

YOU NEED TO RECEIVE HIM
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become sons of God, even to them that believe on his Name.” (John
1:12).
Certainly you may think we are all sons of God, but the Bible
says we are all creatures of God and that sons are only those
who receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.

SALVATION CONSISTS OF

1st Believing in Jesus
2nd Believing in what Jesus has done for us (in everything
he was our Substitute)
3rd Receiving Him as your Lord and Saviour

PRAYER TO RECEIVE
JESUS: |

Right now, if you wish to give your life to Jesus,
then pray this prayer:
“God in heaven, I come to you in
the name of Jesus. Your word says: ‘Him that cometh to me, I
will in no ways cast out (John 6:37)
God, I believe in my heart that Jesus
is the Lord, that he died for me on the cross, to save me. Jesus,
right now I give my life to you, and I receive you as my Lord
and Saviour. Thank you Jesus, for saving me.
Amen!”
